Little Spartan Dribblers

We're excited for the return of Little Spartans Dribblers Program in 2024! The 2024 program, "Our Version" is Full.

Performances:

  • January 30th at the half-time of the McFarland High School Girls' game
  • Febraury 19th at the half-time of the McFarland High School Boys' game
  • Febraury 25th at the half-time of the UW-Badgers Women's game

WHAT IS THE LITTLE SPARTANS DRIBBLING CLUB?

The Spartan Girls Basketball program offers the opportunity for our McFarland youth Girls basketball players* in grades 3-5 to participate in the Little Spartan Dribblers Club.  The goal of this club is simply to develop the ball handling skills of young players in the McFarland basketball program.  

Our group activity will consist of ball handling practice sessions and end with a performance during halftime of a Varsity game.  This performance will demonstrate the progress of club members and allows others to appreciate the value of solid ball handling skills.  Each participant receives a T-shirt and basketball.

*Participants must be female students currently living in McFarland or enrolled in the McFarland School District. 

Enrollment is capped at 40!  

2023 Cost is $40 per participant and included:

  • An incredibly fun learning opportunity!
  • 1-2 practices per week (subject to school gym availability)
  • Access to SportsEngine Team app for communication and scheduling
  • Custom T-shirt and a basketball
  • Opportunity to perform at McF High School and UW Kohl Center
